I'm a new client - do I need to fill out any forms prior to my appointment?

Yes. New clients are required to complete two forms prior to arrival:

Client Information Form and Spray Tan Waiver Form.


Both forms are automatically sent to you when you book through Vagaro and should be completed before your appointment time. This allows us to stay on schedule and ensures your consultation is thoughtful, efficient, and tailored to you.


Arriving with forms completed helps us focus on what matters most — your tan.

How long will my tan last?

Most spray tans fade gradually over 7–10 days, depending on your skin type and how quickly your skin naturally exfoliates. Clients with oilier skin may notice a slightly faster fade.


With proper prep and aftercare, your tan will wear evenly and soften naturally — never patchy or abrupt.

How long will it take?

Most appointments are scheduled in 30-minute increments, with the spray application itself taking approximately 10–15 minutes. This allows time for consultation, prep, application, and finishing touches without feeling rushed.


Bridal tan sessions are reserved for 60 minutes to allow for extended consultation, contouring, and detail work.


Arriving properly prepped helps ensure your appointment runs smoothly and stays on schedule.

How can I pay?

We accept cash, credit cards, Venmo, and Apple Pay. Checks are not accepted.


Pre-payment is required for group bookings, private events, and appointments requested outside of normal operating hours.

What if I'm running late?

If you’re running behind, please call or text as soon as possible. When timing allows, we’ll do our best to adjust and accommodate a brief delay.


We allow a 5–10 minute grace period, depending on the day’s schedule. Arrivals beyond that window may not be able to be accommodated. In those cases, 50% of the service fee will be charged for the reserved appointment time.


These policies help us stay on schedule and provide an unhurried experience for every client.

What if I accidentally get wet or ruin my tan during the initial development period?

Accidents happen. If you experience a mishap during your initial development period, please contact us as soon as possible. We’ll walk you through next steps and troubleshoot the situation to help protect your result.


Prompt communication gives us the best opportunity to assist.

Do you sell retail products?

Yes. Professional spray tan–safe products are the best way to properly prep your skin, protect your color, and extend the life of your tan.


Many drugstore body washes, exfoliants, and moisturizers contain harsh ingredients — including sulfates, fragrances, alcohols, oils, and certain preservatives — that can strip color and cause uneven or premature fading.


We carry a curated selection of salon-quality Spray Studio and AYU products chosen specifically to support sunless tanning, both before and after your appointment. These formulas are plant-based, moisturizing, and enriched with botanical oils, and are available in both travel and full sizes.


All products we offer are paraben-free, petroleum-free, sulfate-free, and cruelty-free.

Because what you use at home matters just as much as what happens in the studio.

What is an Off-Hours appointment?

An off-hours appointment is a session scheduled outside of our normal operating hours. These requests are often tied to special events, travel, or time-sensitive occasions, and we’re happy to accommodate them when possible.


Because off-hours appointments require us to adjust or forgo personal and family time, a non-refundable $30 deposit is required to reserve this type of booking. This deposit secures your appointment and is applied toward the total cost of your service. Any remaining balance — including added services or premium solutions — is due at the time of your session.


Due to the limited nature of off-hours availability, cancellations or no-shows for these appointments are not refundable.


This policy allows us to continue offering flexibility while protecting the time and care reserved specifically for you.

How do rescheduling and cancellations work?

Due to limited availability, we require at least 24 hours’ notice for any reschedule or cancellation so your appointment time can be offered to another client.


More than 24 hours before your appointment
Changes can be made directly through our online booking system using the link provided in your confirmation email or text.


Within 24 hours of your appointment
All changes must be made by calling or texting 262-885-1801. Requests sent via Facebook or Instagram messages are not monitored for scheduling changes and cannot be accepted.


Because all messages are responded to personally, a confirmation from us is required for any change to be valid. If you do not receive a response, we did not receive your request, and a missed appointment will be considered a no-show.

Cancellation Policy

Clear policies allow us to serve every client well.


Due to limited availability and high demand, we require at least 24 hours’ notice for any cancellation or reschedule.


Cancellations or reschedules within 24 hours of your appointment time will result in a $25 late cancellation fee. If the fee cannot be collected, future booking privileges may be restricted.


No-Shows
If you miss your appointment or arrive too late for us to accommodate within our schedule, 50% of the service fee will be charged for the reserved time.


These policies help protect our artists, our schedule, and the experience we provide to every client.

Why do Bridal Tans require a deposit?

Bridal tan appointments are reserved well in advance and require extended time for consultation, contouring, and tan line correction. Each bridal session occupies the equivalent of two standard appointment slots and is scheduled during high-demand dates that are often requested by multiple brides.


A $60 non-refundable deposit is required to secure your bridal appointment and guarantee availability for your wedding timeline. Once booked, we hold that date exclusively for you and decline other bridal requests for the same time.


Because bridal appointments are difficult to rebook — even when cancellations occur outside of the 24-hour window — the deposit helps offset a portion of the reserved time should the appointment be cancelled. It covers approximately half of the income associated with the time set aside for your session.


This policy allows us to commit fully to each bride while maintaining fairness across our bridal calendar.

Deposit Policy

Deposits for specialty services, including bridal tans, and off-hours appointments are non-refundable.


If a service is cancelled for any reason, the deposit will be forfeited. This includes, but is not limited to: sunburn, improper or incomplete prep, residual sunless tan that has not been fully removed, illness, or inability to accommodate a reschedule request.


These deposits secure limited availability and time reserved exclusively for you.

How can I receive savings on services?

We offer a limited number of structured savings options designed to reward loyalty and thoughtful planning. Discounts cannot be combined — the highest applicable savings will be applied to your appointment.


Available options include:


Spray Tan Membership
Our membership includes a one-time enrollment fee and provides 50% off spray tans and 10% off retail for six months. This option is ideal for clients who tan regularly and value consistency.


Pre-Booking Savings
Clients who pre-book their next appointment at the time of service receive a $5 savings on their upcoming visit.


Referral Rewards Program
Earn reward points by referring friends or sharing your Spellbound experience on social media. Points may be redeemed toward future services or retail.


These options allow us to offer thoughtful savings while continuing to uphold the standards, ingredients, and expertise that define the Spellbound experience.

What if I'm not satisfied with my spray tan?

Your satisfaction matters to us. If you have a concern with your spray tan, please contact us within 48 hours of your appointment and include a photo so we can properly assess the issue.


A beautiful, long-lasting sunless tan is a shared process. While your tan is expertly applied in-studio, proper prep and aftercare play a significant role in the final result. Skipping prep steps or using products that are not spray tan–safe can affect both color development and longevity.


For best results, we strongly recommend reviewing our Tan Prep & Care guidelines prior to your appointment. Minor concerns can often be avoided — or improved for future tans — with small adjustments to your routine. For major events, a trial tan is always encouraged, especially for first-time clients.


Please note that results cannot be guaranteed when non–spray tan–safe products are used. We offer a curated selection of professional Spray Studio and AYU body care products designed specifically to support sunless tanning and help your color wear evenly and beautifully.
