Completing your forms prior to arriving ensures that we stay on schedule and allows for a thorough consultation prior to your first tan.
Your tan will fade evenly and last 7-10 days or as long as your skin takes to naturally exfoliate. Oily skin tends to fade faster.
Appointments are booked in 30-minute increments. The actual application only takes 10-15 minutes. Arriving properly prepped is the best way to guarantee your service stays on schedule.
Cash, Venmo, Apple Pay and credit card payments are happily accepted – no checks. Pre-payment is required for parties, group events and for appointments requested outside of normal operating hours.
If you're running late, please text or call me so I can adjust my schedule to accommodate your revised arrival time.
Accidents happen. If you have a mishap during your development period, please call me immediately so we can troubleshoot the issue to ensure you have a beautiful result.
Yes! Professional spray tan safe products are the best way to prep, protect and prolong your spray tan. Using drug store products with harsh ingredients such as soaps, exfoliants, fragrances, alcohols, preservatives or oils will strip and shorten the life of your tan.
I carry a full line of salon quality Spray Studio products designed to help maintain your sunless tan and support all your Pre & Post tan sunless needs. I have hand-selected products that contain organic and essential botanical oils that are moisturizing and plant based and are available in both travel and full sizes. All products are Paraben Free, Petroleum Free, Sulfate Free and Cruelty Free.
Many times I'm asked to take appointments outside of my normal working hours and am more than happy to do so, as spray tans are often tied to special events and vacations.
Taking an off-hours appointment requires me to adjust, shift or decline personal and family obligations while trying to maintain a healthy work/life balance.
Unfortunately over the last 3 years, 95% of cancelled and no-show appointments occur on days that I've been asked to either alter my schedule or come in on a scheduled day off.
My clients mean the world to me and I do my best to accommodate all special requests which is why I now require a non-refundable deposit to hold your off-hours appointment. Your deposit will be applied to the total cost of your appointment and any remaining balance will be due at the time of service.
Submitting a $25 deposit for an off-hours appointment is a gentle reminder to be respectful of my time & willingness to flex to your needs while also partially compensating me for costs associated with reschedules, cancellations and no-shows on my scheduled time off.
Due to my limited availability, rescheduling or cancellations require 48 hours notice so I can open up your appointment time to other clients.
Changes up to 48 hours from your appointment can be made using my online booking system and can be accessed using your confirmation email or text link.
Changes within 48 hours of your appointment MUST BE MADE by sending an email to firstname.lastname@example.org or by sending a message using the CONTACT link on my website or booking site or by leaving a VOICE or TEXT MESSAGE at 262-885-1801.
I respond to every single message personally so if you don’t receive a confirmation of your rescheduled or cancelled appointment, that means I did not receive your request and your missed appointment will be considered a no-show appointment.

What can make owning a small business challenging, especially in an appointment-based business, are cancellations and missed appointments. I understand that life happens and I respect that things come up that may prevent a client from being able to keep an appointment. At the same time, cancellations can be a detriment to the success of a small business from a financial and scheduling standpoint.
As a business owner, I have chosen NOT to require a credit card on file when clients schedule an appointment or charge a cancellation fee. I trust that you will honor my time as much as I honor your business.
Therefore, appointments cancelled within 48 hours of your appointment time MAY require a non-refundable pre-payment of $50 to secure your next appointment with payment due upon scheduling.
Appointments cancelled within 24 hours of your appointment or no-show appointments WILL require a non-refundable pre-payment of $50 to secure your next appointment with payment due upon scheduling. Pre-paid appointments may not be rescheduled.
Any balance for added services or premium solutions will be due at the time of your session. Pre-payment deposits can be submitted through Venmo at @spellboundtans.
Bridal tans are typically booked months in advance, require more time for contouring and tan line correction and take up two regular appointment slots. Bridal cancellations, even if they are not last minute, can be difficult to fill given the large gap they leave in my schedule.
Your non-refundable deposit holds your bridal appointment date and guarantees my availability over extended periods of time as I am turning away other brides requesting the same appointment days you've already booked. Waitlists for event tans are hit or miss as brides typically want to lock in a spray tan artist well in advance which makes rebooking these appointments very difficult.
A non-refundable deposit of $50 gently encourges clients to be respectful of my time as a beauty professional and only covers my loss of income for 1/2 the time booked if the bridal tan appointment is cancelled.
Deposits submitted for specialty services (bridal), pre-paid or off-hours appointments and VIP appointments are NON-REFUNDABLE.
Cancellations for ANY REASON will FORFEIT your deposit INCLUDING the inability to spray tan you because of a sunburn, failure to prep properly or completely remove your previous spray tan, illness, or being unable to accommodate a reschedule request.
I want you to be 100% satisfied with your spray tan. If for some reason you are not, please let me know within 48 hours and be sure to include a photo of the issue.
Client prep is 50% of the job when it comes to having a BEAUTIFUL sunless tan. I can give you an amazing tan that is expertly applied but if you have not prepped properly or don't follow the aftercare instructions, it will affect your end result.
99% of unsatisfactory issues are due to improper prep and post tan care. Please visit my TAN PREP & CARE page to ensure best results. Often, minor issues can be completely resolved by fine tuning your sunless routine for your next tan. For this reason, I strongly recommend scheduling a trial tan before any major events, especially if you've not had a spray tan before.
Spray tans are NOT guaranteed when products that are not "spray tan safe" are used.
